Our roots are in pitch-shifting. Our founders were part of the team that created the Eventide H3000, one of the most iconic pitch-shifters of all time. They went on to start a company called Wave Mechanics (soon to be called Soundtoys), which created the first real-time pitch and formant shifter: PurePitch TDM. Subject:How do I change the pitch or create the deep vocal effect
Hey what's happening my fellow Presonians I wanted know what effect helps me to create deep vocals? I know there are plenty of presets, but what tool located on Studio One Artist would help me with the pitch? I know I've asked this before and then I began to experiment with a few of the levels on certain presets which allowed me to create a few different sounds that I liked but I still can't figure out to get the vocal preset i want. You know how your working on a song and the vocals are leveled out just right and then you want to add that one effect that would help give the overall song a little emphasis. Any help or knowledge about this would greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance and I look forward to reading your suggestions
All I have is Windows 7, Studio One Artist Edition, Presonus AudioBox, M7 Condenser mic, and some Califone headphones with the prefered coiled cord.. That should be enough for a noob right? Oh yeah, and the AKAI MPD32!!!

I thought I should've done that as well but I didn't for some reason, sure I have this example that's been running through my mind.. Lupe Fiasco's Little Weapon track has the deep vocal effect I'm trying to reproduce but I don't know what preset I should use in order to achieve this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UktEpUM-iMM Thanks

i assume youre talkiing about the part right in the intro of that song.. sounds like it was pitched down and had some 'verb added in. just right click on the event you want to change and theres a transpose value at the top that you can adjust to change pitch. there is also a tune value for fine adjustments.
